Stern Insider Connected keeps track of a players score and achievement on select Stern tables. This is done by scanning a QR code assigned to a player in the Stern Insider Connected app. The tavern displays high scores on a large screen. Every month prizes are awarded to customers for scores (not necessarily the highest ones) on specific Stern machines (details at the bar).

Match Play Events

The Maine Silverball Battle Beer League (MSBBL) is a 6 week IFPA sanctioned league with 2 divisions that’s run by the tavern. All skill levels are welcome! The entry fee is $20 (coin drop not included). Upon completion of the six weeks, a finals day will be announced, and cash/trophies will be awarded. You must participate 3 out of the 6 weeks to qualify for finals.

The New England Pinball League (NEPL) is maintained by volunteers within the pinball community. The tavern is a participating location. The schedule consists of 8 weekly sessions and a playoff final. First time players and players 12 and under have the option to join the league without paying the $40 dues as League Guests. League guests who choose to play without contributing dues are not eligible to win prize money or receive an entry in the pinball machine giveaway. They are eligible to receive a trophy and the glory should they place in their respective division. Any unawarded prize money will remain in league funds for the following season. The objective of the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) is to serve as the governing body for pinball as a competitive sport, through the sanctioning and organizing of events at the Local, State, National and International levels. The tavern hosts casual Magic: The Gathering (MTG) every Wed. 5:30-10:30 PM. The format that’s primarily played is Commander but all formats are welcome. Don’t be afraid to join in if you’re a beginner! Everyone that attends is happy to help and interested in learning more themselves.
